Safe Passages AmeriCorps members serve for 6 to 11 months providing academic intervention to small group of students with the goal of improving their academic and social/emotional achievement. Through a year of service, Safe Passages AmeriCorps Members will have the opportunity to help meet critical needs for vulnerable populations in Alameda County, CA.  Members also develop professional skills, gain hands-on experiences, and establish a meaningful connection with the community — all while making a difference!

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Safe Passages AmeriCorps members are playing a more important role than ever. Members have been supporting students through virtual platforms, connecting with families, and helping to distribute food and resources to our communities.
