THIS IS ONE OF THOSE MOMENTS

A Message from the CEO – Josefina Alvarado Mena

In this most serious of moments, we must ask ourselves collectively, what can we do?

We must leverage the enduring spirit, skill, tenacity, and resources of every generation if we are to end the pandemic. To meet this moment at Safe Passages we are leveraging every resource to support our children, youth, and families. We invite you to read about how we have reimagined our direct service programs to ensure no family goes hungry and every child has a connection to a caring adult.

We reach out to you today to help us in our endeavors to meet the needs of our most vulnerable families. Please consider making a donation. With the support of the Alameda County Food Bank, a small donation of $10 will help us provide a family of four with groceries for a week. This is a moment that calls upon all of us to take our commitment to the community to the next level.

In Service,

Josefina Alvarado Mena
