Overview

Safe Passages offers supervised internships to Masters Level Social Work students interested in macro and micro level social work. Safe Passages offers clinical and programming placements. Graduate-level trainees will be exposed to case management with students and their families at TK-12 school sites and/or policy and program design, implementation, and evaluation. Current and past partners have included University of California at Berkeley, San Francisco State University, California State University (CSU) at East Bay, CSU at San Francisco and CSU at San Jose.

Safe Passages Social Work Internship Program is designed for first and second year graduate students.

Our Goals

The goal of the program is to connect low-income students and families to resources that will lead to their success and develop a cadre of strong, young professional social workers.
